Quilting 101---Beginning Quilt Class

Christmas Snowball Table Runner

18" x 48" or any length you prefer

You will learn how to use a rotary cutter, construct snowball blocks and make this beautiful table runner.  We have some fun Christmas fabrics or you can make it out of any three fabrics of your choice.

The class is $25.00 if you bring your own fabric.  If you purchase the fabric here the class is free.

We are offering a morning class or evening class.  You can attend one or both.  Just sign up at the store and let us know your preference.

Dates and Times: Wed. October 13th from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. or Wed. October 27th from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Other classes will be arranged as necessary.

You will need to bring your sewing machine, rotary cutter, ruler (6.5 x 24), mat and basic sewing kit.  As always we are here to answer any of your questions.

 

Hand Embroidery Class

Would you like to learn how to hand embroider?

We are offering hand embroidery classes on Wednesdays in October.  You can sign-up for 1 or more classes.  Each class will be $5.00

We are making a Haunted House that you can frame in an 8x10 frame. 

The dates will be October 6th, 13th or 27th.  You can pick a morning or evening class or mix and match.  Class times are 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m. or 5:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m.  

Purchase of a $17.99 kit is required, this includes pattern, floss, material and batting.  You will need to supply a 6 inch or smaller hoop, small pair of scissors and embroidery needles (a size 10 needle is a good size).  You can purchase needles here at the store.

If you already know how to embroider you can purchase the pattern for $4.99 and the kit for $13.00  You could create a fun project for just under $18.00

Just in---Sanibelle.  This fabric is so cute!!  I know, I know I've said this before.  But it is true.  This fabric retails for $9.50 a yard.  Remember that all yardage is 20% off!!!  Christmas is sneaking up on us fast so if you are going to sew crafty items or quilts for your loved ones you need to get started!  As always we will help you with any of your quilting questions!!!

Would you like to join a quilt guild?  Quilters on the Edge is a local guild that meets twice a month.  Their year runs from September to September.  Come join!
